Our favorite travel podcaster, Trav from Extra Pack of Peanuts, was a great resource when planning our nine-month adventure. Rated the #1 travel podcast on iTunes, Trav and his wife Heather have been all over the world and we loved tuning in for their food recommendations and travel tips.

Hi Rutledges! I just listened to your podcast episode. So inspiring to hear your story. We are planning a sabbatical or career break with our 9 year old beginning this summer and it’s great to hear that you had a fantastic experience and no major mishaps or illnesses. I’m really excited about our “big adventure” as we’ve taken to calling it. Would love to connect for ideas, etc. BTW I celebrated 40 in 2014 too! The midlife revaluation really makes you focus on what you want in this short life.
