One of the best parts of this journey has been stopping to visit friends and spend time with families we love. Luke adores playing with kids his age and Mitch and I revel in adult time and conversation. Our latest stop was in Bath to see friends we made while living in London. Now with three boys between us and a decade lived in separate countries, it’s amazing that we can pick up right where we left off. The Bryans are quintessentially British and phenomenally fun. Time spent with them is always filled with laughter and smiles, the best kind of friendship.
After a few quiet weeks in Richmond, we anticipated a great time in Bath and they didn’t disappoint. Late night dance parties, slip n slide Sunday barbecue and even a day out alone for Mitch and me to enjoy the healing waters of the Bath Spa. I’m so thankful that our friendship has remained through the years and it gives us a great excuse to keep coming back to England again and again.
