The number one question people have asked us is, “How in the world do you pack for nine months?” Well, you pack for one week. Since we are chasing summer, the clothes are lighter and all in the same season. Each of us is taking one carry-on and one backpack.
Thankfully, we can pick things up that we might need along the way (well, not as easy for Mitch). And I’m sure I’ll be ready to burn these clothes after the trip! Inside our bags, we’ve used packing cubes to keep everything organized.
It’ll be interesting to see what is really needed and what was non-essential. We’ll keep you posted!
